SkinPen Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses tiny needles to make holes in the surface of your skin.  This microtrauma helps to stimulate collagen production thereby improving the apperance of wrinkles, scars, and acne.  It can also help improve skin texture and firmness.  At Uplift, we use the SkinPen Precision Microneedling devices which was the first FDA cleared microneedling device on the market.  For best results, a series of 3-6 treatments is recommended.

Price: $350 per session per area or $900 for Package of 3

How Does it Work?

  • Microneedling activates the skin’s natural healing process. Here’s how it works in three steps:

  • 1. Inflammation

  • SkinPen’s microneedles penetrate the skin’s surface, triggering a natural immune response to disinfect, remove debris, increase blood flow, and activate the creation of new tissue.

  • 2. Proliferation

  • The micro-channels or tiny holes created by SkinPen are rebuilt with new granulation cells that include collagen proteins. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.

  • 3. Remodeling

  • New dermal tissues form, rich in collagen and elastin proteins. These proteins improve skin quality, visibly reducing facial acne scars and neck wrinkles, leaving skin more smooth, radiant, and younger-looking.
